Im Rahmen der Ausstellung “DURCHGANG MIT HÖRSTRAHLUNG UND ERDLAMPE / PASSAGE WITH ACOUSTIC RADIATION AND EARTHLAMP” zeigte das Institut für Angewandte Realitätsveränderung die Installation “Acoustic Radiation”. Diese Installation ermöglicht mit Hilfe eines physikalischen Experiments die Sichtbarmachung von α-Teilchen und deren Strahlung. Diese Visualisierung wird wiederum durch eine Videoaufnahme abgenommen und mit Hilfe eines extra dafür geschriebenen Programms, wird die Bewegung der α-Teilchen in Sound umgewandelt. Die Installation erlaubt uns dem für uns Unsichtbar-faktischen eine Ebene hinzuzufügen, welche zum einen Veränderung und Interpretation zuläßt, aber nie den Referenzpunkt ihres Ursprungs verlässt. Eine realitätsverändernde Maßnahme.
